This is the book that started it all for me. Her lively sense of humor is infectious, and the crazy situations the kids get into... where does she come up with this stuff? She's in a class all her own with creative phrases liberally used by one character for everything from shock to horror to happiness. Ruby and friends are a wonderful escape for any age reader, from young teen to grandma (ahem, me). I guarantee, if you enjoy teen and young adult fantasy that you can share with your kids, this is both the author and series for you!
